Written by William Penn, an English writer, influential Quaker, and religious thinker who was imprisoned in the Tower of London for publication without a license, though the true crime is considered to have been blasphemy in written statements against the Catholic Church and the Church of England. Loose leaves bound with string. Externally, sound with light wear to the extremities and minor age toning. Internally, generally firmly bound, held by cords only. Pages are bright with the odd spot.
